Open position: DSG Coordinator, Summer 2020-Spring 2021

The Digital Scholarship Group in the Northeastern University Library is happy to announce a job opening for a Northeastern University graduate student for the summer and upcoming academic year.

This position is a great opportunity to work intensively with a range of digital projects and to gain experience with both digital tools and methods as well as management and administration in a non-profit environment. No specific background is required, and we welcome applications from incoming graduate students.

We plan on this being a fully remote position over the Summer, and we typically allow remote work during the academic year.

The Digital Scholarship Group Coordinator (10 hours/week, summer and academic year 2019-20): collaborate on department-wide project management, outreach and publicity, and documentation, including contributions to specific DSG projects as needed. Additional projects depend on skills and interests but could include assisting with pilot projects in the digital repository, producing training materials for digital tools, creating and maintaining partnerships with other local organizations, and working with the DSG staff on grant proposals.

To apply, please send a statement of interest and resume to Amanda Rust, a.rust@northeastern.edu, by May 20, 2020.
